ENGLISH THROUGH
At Exsportise we offer a summer camp programme which includes English language learning with a specialist academy of either sport, music or dance. Students receive three hours English Tuition as well as three hours of specialist coaching or tuition in their chosen academy each week day. We provide an environment where students improve not only their skills and technique in their chosen specialist academy, but also grow their self-confidence and social-skills.
Exsportise has been running sports and activity camps since 1988 and we know that what we offer really works! We provide a caring, fun, friendly, safe and secure environment. As a residential camp, all our staff live on-site and we offer one of the best staff-to-student ratios available. Our goal is to ensure that all students leave Exsportise with improved skills and confidence; the motivation to participate further in their chosen academy activity; and with friendships and memories that will last them a lifetime. Exsportise was founded in 1988 by Dutchman, Bram van Asselt and Olympian, Steve Batchelor.
Both former top-level hockey players and sports development officers, Bram and Steve saw an opportunity to develop something special and unique. They launched Exsportise originally to offer professional sports coaching to young people in the UK. Then in 1997 Exsportise began offering English language courses alongside sports coaching using sport as a catalyst for English language learning and development.
Almost 35 years later, the success of Exsportise - one of the best sports coaching and English language summer schools around today - speaks for itself.
Since its creation in 1988, Exsportise has provided professional sports coaching to more than 25,000 students. Nowadays, most students attending Exsportise come from overseas and study a combination of professional sport and English language.

Exsportise is also part of English UK and Young Learners English UK. English UK is the national association of accredited English language centres in the UK and Young Learners English UK is a Special Interest Group of English UK for accredited providers of quality English language courses for Young Learners (we identify ‘Young Learners’ as children and teenagers aged from 7 to 17 years).
